Over the last couple of weeks, we have been doing what we do best—helping local residents get exactly where they need to go. 🚙✨
Whether driving through beautiful scenic routes or visiting places that hold a more personal meaning for our clients, every single trip is a powerful snapshot of how our service supports the people we love to support.

• 🏡 Care Transitions: Helping individuals safely transfer to and from transitional or long-term care facilities.
• 🎓 School & Work Programs: Ensuring several NDIS participants travel reliably and safely to school and their specialised work environments.
• 🫂 Keeping Families Connected: Making sure a wonderful elderly couple living in separate aged care facilities can still visit each other twice a week.
🤍 Compassionate Support: Providing dedicated care and transport for an elderly family member so they could safely attend a family funeral.
• 😎☕️ Everyday Errands & Outings: Assisting with essential tasks like grocery shopping and hardware store runs, or simply enjoying a relaxing coffee by the beach!

Today is World Senior Citizens Day, a day that recognises and appreciates senior citizens for all their accomplishments and contributions to the community we live in today.

Senior citizens are valued members of society, who have plenty of kind wisdom and experience to share with the younger generation.

They are often overlooked and undermined because of their fragile state, but they have played a huge role in history, either in our communities, the workforce, or in our daily households.

World Senior Citizens Day is a great opportunity to show them love and plenty of kindness in celebrating their golden age and their presence in our lives.

Today we proudly wear a daffodil to support the thousands of Australians and New Zealanders impacted by cancer, and to help raise vital funds for life-saving cancer research. 🌼

The Revival House Perth and Blue Dot Army are partnering this weekend 15th August at 2pm for a screening of the 1989 classic Driving Miss Daisy!
Tickets are $18.50 with the promo code JOURNEY and $4 from every ticket will go directly to Blue Dot Army in supporting people going through cancer.

King Neptune provided the backdrop for our visit to Two Rocks today. This iconic sculpture, world famous in Perth, was once the symbol of the popular 1980's Atlantis Marine Park - where many families enjoyed water park attractions including the swimming pools, slides, and the dolphin and seal shows. 🐬🦭💦

While supporting our lovely client settle back home after a lengthy hospital visit, she also shared her stories and memories of the once thriving themed hub. 😊

The water park may be gone now, but King Neptune still sits proud on the hill, aging gracefully-ish, towering over the area, and triggering those nostalgic memories for those who enjoyed the days when summer was all about being there at the water park. 🌞
