Some fabulous news for one of the Tango victims!

When Tango Caravans collapsed, leaving countless innocent people financially destroyed, one Australian caravan manufacturer, Nova Caravans, came to the rescue of one of the victims. Now, Nova has handed over the caravan to the victims of Tango's mismanagement, changing their lives forever.

Hello wonderful Caravanning community.

As some of you may be aware, back in August last year Tango Caravans collapsed and went into liquidation leaving many devastated families out of pocket and without their caravans that they had saved for and worked so hard for. Some families lost large deposits and some families had paid the full amount ($70,000+) for their caravan, only to have the liquidators tell them that there is no chance that they will see a cent of their money back. For some this was money out of their superannuation funds, some had taken out a loan which they will now have to continue paying for nothing, some had saved for years and years to be able to take a year off and do the lap, and some already were living and travelling in a van, turning to Tango to upgrade to a new van, only to be left with nothing.

Tango were found to have been trading insolvent since March 2023, 17mths before they collapsed. Unfortunately these families that have now been left devastated by this event, were none the wiser of this and trusted a seemingly well established business. While some people may say ‘why would you pay in full before you had the van?’ Unfortunately it’s not so black and white and the stories of lies and deception are truly awful.

This is where the TAG Team has come in. With support from Max Taylor from GORV magazine, a caring and resolute team has come together to form the Tango Action Group and is committed to fundraising for the victims of the Tango Caravans' collapse. We are trying to help right a terrible wrong for these people and make their lives less stressful, and to enable them to enjoy their caravanning dream.

We understand that times are really tough for many and there are many people going through hard times, but if you are able to donate even a small amount to our fundraising it would mean so much to these families that have suffered from this collapse. We are also trying to make sure we have added everyone affected by this to the fund so if you are a victim please follow the link below.
