When Clients asks about Airlines' fare Structure/model:
Basically, a booking class or a booking code is the letter that stands for the price of the ticket and for the restrictions that will apply to it.
For example an airline may decide that they want to sell 50 of their economy class seats for $500 + taxes, and make them completely non-refundable and non-exchangable. They make these tickets available and assign the letter "L". Another 50 seats in economy class they want to make refundable and exchangable, but also more expencive - $1000 + taxes. This one may be "S" (or any other letter).
