This day 2009 changed many of our lives for ever. We lost so much including a few of our own members.
Lions Club of Marysville & District went into action. Even though many had lost everything they had. So much was expected of the club by the community and by the wider Lions club nationally and internationally much was done. Even to this day we still have the tool shed that became a life line for so many. Our thoughts go out to all that were effected by Black Saturday We don’t forget. 🎗️

Need for Feed were at it again today. 74 trucks and around. 30 odd Utes arrived in Alexandra in convoy from Yea, what a site to see. After lunch they headed out to their destinations to deliver their much needed loads. Once again a huge thank you to Graham from Need for Feed and his amazing crew that pull all this together to keep our farmers going through this difficult time. 👏👏👏👏👏

Great way to get out and show our communities support and thanks.

For many, Australia Day weekend is about reflecting and celebrating what it means to be an Aussie. For us, we need to celebrate these Aussie heroes at Need for Feed Australia who are spending their weekend delivering 74 trucks of hay to our region....yep, you heard that right, a convoy of 74 trucks!

If you're out and about, we'd love you to show them some appreciation as the convoy rolls through the region.

As some rough timing, on Sunday they'll be heading through:
- Seymour about 12:00pm
- Yea about 12:25pm,
- Alexandra about 1:00pm.

Thanks to VicPol, as well as Yea, Limestone and Alexandra CFA who will help manage the convoy.

Going to be a great day on Monday for the best Marysville Parade. Enjoy the parade in our beautiful shady street. Then come and enjoy a sausage sizzle and music in the park. Bring a picnic, have a sausage or enjoy some food from our great food shops in town.
