So day 1 was pretty quiet.
That’s ok I was kind of expecting that.
After chatting with a handful of blokes and much thought, this is how I’m going to trial the next couple of weeks to see if it’s viable.
I can only do between 8-10 am most days, I’m sorry I cannot do late nights early mornings. I have a family.
If there are days I can get there in the afternoons then I’ll post to let you know in advance, I still have a full time job.
Home cooked meals prepped in plastic containers and ready to heat - I have worked out I can run the microwave from the Geny no problem.
If you would like cold meat and/or salad, I can do that, just let me know previous and I’ll make them at home before coming down.

On offer tomorrow I have:
6 servings Lasagne with steamed cabbage, capsicum and broccoli.
6 servings Beef Casserole with mash.
$15 each
Fruit, Apples and Bananas $1 ea
Tea and Coffee, Free

If nothing much comes about in the next couple weeks then this little venture will come to an end unfortunately.

Thank you to all those who did take 5 mins to have a chat with me today, very much appreciated 👍

So this is the page I will be running for this little venture of which may have potential to be bigger than originally expected.
All ideas, opinions gripes etc will be greatly accepted and appreciated.
My head is spinning at the response I've got and it wouldnt have happened if it wasnt for my better half Shane who knows the area far better than me.
We recently moved to the Northam area after getting away from the big smoke both wanting to get back to the country and so far our life has turned out for the best!
I found myself a little job feeding the masses and didnt realise how busy the great eastern highway gets with trucks, once again Shane educated me with the importance of the great eastern.
So enough of that, there will be trial and error along the way but my aim is to provide the drivers with tucker made from a family home and I'll do all I can to make it happen at a reasonable price.
So I'm asking for you to please keep throwing information at me.
How many trucks can be at the hook up pad at any one time (on average), slower days/times, busier days/times.
Do you want salads fruits 'rabbit food' as my brother would say.
At this stage I'm planning to come down Sunday sometime, what would be best morning avo, lunch??
I will bring down a few rolls and other samples, tea and coffee and hopefully have a chat and start getting this show on the road (pardon the pun).

Happy Days!!
