Brenton got his second COVID-19 vaccination at the Wayville vaccination clinic this week aided by Auslan interpreter Breanna from Deaf CanDo .

"It is really important that people from the deaf community feel comfortable to come and be able to receive the vaccine without communication accessibility being a barrier,” says Sarah Dempsey, Manager, Deaf Can:Do.

CALHN is committed to making services accessible to all our community, and Deaf Can:Do is our proud Auslan interpreting partner.

If you need an interpreter, please book ahead of your appointment with Deaf Can:Do or, if you have other special needs, let our team know upon arrival to be given extra support for your vaccination.

I just wanted to let you know what my brave, selfless daughter is doing this weekend. She is donating her long hair (again) to Variety to be made into a wig for a child with cancer.

But not only that, she is also SHAVING her hair for the Worlds Greatest Shave!
