Good afternoon, as the highway is currently closed between Cardwell and Ingham due to a serious traffic crash this morning, we will be detouring via Halifax for this afternoon's run.

We will pick up students from school as normal however drop off time will be at least 30 mins later than usual.

📍Cardwell, Kennedy, Tully and surrounds- you are invited to this opportunity to chat with Gilroy Santa Maria College Principal Johanna Smith about an education that goes beyond.

Johanna will be at the Cardwell Library Tuesday May 12 from 3:30pm-4:30pm to catch up with families considering their child’s secondary education.

🚌Do you know that GSMC has a bus dedicated to Cardwell students? This is a long standing, popular service to create convenience for students and parents.

All families are welcome, but attendance is highly encouraged for students in Year 5 and 6.

Alternatively, families with students in Year 6 can register now for GSMC’s Year 7 Expo (May 15, 7:30am-3pm) and Transition Program https://www.gilroysm.catholic.edu.au/enrolment/year-7-transition-program/

Good morning, apologies for the late notice this morning but we commenced the run and have decided that in the interest of student safety today's Cardwell school run will be cancelled due to continuing very heavy rainfall, lots of surface water and forecast rainfall. Thankyou for your understanding ~Brennan & Jess
