With rain forecast over the coming week, today may have been the last hay load for this old girl for a while.

A new prime mover is joining Hi-Way Freight next week, but it’s not goodbye for the Argosy — just some well-earned rest and recovery after a busy first year in business.

She’s worked hard, covered plenty of kilometres, and helped move a lot of freight across NSW and beyond.

Looking forward to the next chapter, while still keeping this one close by.

The current fuel shortages and rising prices are putting real pressure on farmers, truckers, and the businesses that rely on them. It is an uncertain time, and tensions can run high, but we are all feeling it together.

Even when rates increase, the reality is that there are no real winners in this environment. The strain is being felt right across the supply chain.

Look out for one another, keep communicating, and lean on your support networks during stressful times. A bit of patience, understanding, and support can go a long way.
