Coomera Circuit- Gold Coast.
1hr drive from Brisbane (approx) - put this hike on your day trip list. Moderate fitness required.

It’s a challenging ~17km rainforest hike in Lamington National Park’s Binna Burra section (about 110km from Brisbane), featuring Coomera Falls, multiple river crossings (rock-hopping), and Antarctic Beech forest, requiring around 7 hours and caution after rain.

Access is via Binna Burra Road, starting from the upper day-use area, but check for current track closures before you go as this hike is planned to reopen February 2026.

Road trip idea! 🌊

Just about 4.5 hours drive south from the Gold Coast lies Crescent Head, NSW – a chilled-out coastal village on the Mid North Coast in Kempsey, New South Wales

Famous for its epic longboard-friendly surf, retro vibe, cute cafes, taverns, and that classic beachy feel. Nearby gems like Point Plomer and Delicate Beach add even more magic.

Stunning coastal walks link spots like Big Nobby to Goolawah Beach, and it's right next to Goolawah National Park with beautiful beaches, fishing, camping (especially at Delicate Beach ), and nature trails. NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service

FEATURE REEL: Don't miss the hidden Crescent Headland Rockpool! Park at Back Beach Access Car Park, walk down to the beach, head left along the sand 600m, then rock hop the final bit over craggy rocks (total 950m one way). It's a turquoise secret swim spot – best 2 hours either side of low tide with calm conditions. Wear grippy shoes, watch for slips and waves!

This spot is a total must-visit for surf, walks, and relaxed vibes.
