Because removalists charge for their time, a few simple jobs beforehand can help keep your moving costs down:

🔧 Washing machine: Disconnect the hoses and pop them inside the machine so they stay together.

🛏️ Beds: Pull them apart and place the bolts/screws in a labelled bag inside the bedside table that belongs with that bed.

📺 TVs: Take a quick photo of the cables before disconnecting everything — future you will be VERY grateful when it’s time to reconnect them. 😂

Of course, Tony and the team can do all of this for you — and we’re always happy to! But if you’re looking for ways to keep your removal bill as low as possible, doing these little jobs yourself means less time on moving day = more money in your pocket. 💰
