Bigurda Trail, Kalbarri, WA
So after our day at the Kalbarri NP gorges it was time to hit the coastline, Jacob and I were pumped up to do more hiking and discussed the holidays we would go on just us where we could hike for a week and do unlimited adventuringπ
We chose the 4km stretch of the Bigurda trail from grandstand to natural bridge
This took us about 2 hours, the trail was on the edge of the cliff for more than half the way which gave us an opportunity to whale watch, dolphins seek and take in the sound of roaring waves π
Also questioning if we could make our way to the base of the cliff for a fish one day and how we would get back up π
The length of the walk became a little draining for J at one point, I noticed it was just before half way so I tried some different strategies to build that resilience and we pushed through with a spring in our step. Love watching him grow and since then heβs only got more invested in big bold treks.
I could have gone the rest of the tracks 4km although there was too much to see and do in this beautiful stretch of the coastline - we stopped in at Red Rock on the way back for some more stunning hues within the natural landscape β€οΈ
