It’s always a good day when the load gets to the right place in one piece, and you get paid.
But it is even better when the worth of the load is more than coin.
Today I had the honour of ‘rehoming’ this beautiful little wooden boat that had been in the same family for more than five decades. Unfortunately her owner become unwell and passed last year, and she was really starting to show her age. The family were worried she would become firewood, but she has found a new home in Mandurah and will be restored to her former beauty.
Big thanks to Justin at Myaree Crane Hire for safely getting her out of the water, the crew at Swan Yacht Club for making this happen, and Mandurah Boat Stacking for the warm welcome.
Look forward to seeing her on the high seas one day.
