Up for her annuals is the carvel-planked, Teak beast ‘Minena’ launched in Hong Kong in 1924 & clocking in at over 100 yrs old! She has a chequered past including running liquor from Canada to USA during the prohibition with her decks frequented by US president JFK. It’s always a pleasure to work a vessel that has truly stood the test of time ⚓️🤩 #100 🎨

44ft Huon pine motor sailer ‘pattybelle’ joined us on the slip for a full topside repaint, colour scheme change, antifoul and propspeed.
Shippies also replaced 4x skin fittings and seacocks with Trudesign fittings, including new Huon Pine backing blocks.
We also attended to a few rot patches in the transom and around the sterntube.
She’s back in service and looking good as new!
