Dear Donnybrook Community Garden Members and Friends,
As we turn a new chapter in the life of the Donnybrook Community Garden, we—Wink Lindsay, outgoing Chairperson, and Christian Valenzuela, outgoing Deputy Chair—would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the support, collaboration, and friendship shared throughout our time in these roles. It has been an honour to serve this wonderful community, and we are deeply proud of what we have accomplished together: cultivating not only fresh produce, but also connection, learning, and a spirit of belonging.
With great confidence and enthusiasm, we are delighted to introduce the new leaders who will guide our garden forward. Emmelyn Wojtyra will be stepping into the role of Chairperson, and Dave Fawcett will be taking on the position of Deputy Chair. Both bring energy, commitment, and a genuine passion for community gardening, and we are excited to see the creativity and care they will bring to the year ahead.
All other committee positions will remain the same, ensuring continuity and stability as the Garden continues to grow—literally and figuratively.
Please join us in welcoming Emmelyn and Dave into their new roles. We have every confidence that the Donnybrook Community Garden will flourish under their stewardship. We look forward to supporting them as fellow members and to sharing in the continued success of this wonderful space we all cherish.
