This evening is an opportunity to hear directly from the students as they reflect on their journey—what they’ve experienced, the lessons they’ve learned, and the powerful takeaways they will carry forward in life.

This is a limited capacity event. Once the seats have been filled we are unable to accept walk ins on the night.

They’ve done it! 🇵🇬🥾

Our incredible Kokoda trekkers have completed the journey of a lifetime — crossing the final steps of the trail and now safely back in Port Moresby. Tonight is a time for reflection, rest, and pride before they fly home to Australia tomorrow.

This trek is not just about endurance, but about resilience, teamwork and deep respect for the history and sacrifice that marks every step of the Kokoda Track.

So proud of each and every one of them — what an extraordinary achievement! 💪🌿🇦🇺

🚶‍♂️🇵🇬 Kokoda Trek Update 🇵🇬🚶‍♀️
The group pushed further yesterday than expected, showing just how strong and determined they are — hiking very well! 💪

They overnighted in Hood Water and now have only a couple of hours to go before completing the track. What an achievement!

They’ll visit the Bomana War Cemetery on their way back to Port Moresby, where they’ll arrive by lunchtime today.

Incredible work by everyone involved — you’ve done yourselves, your families, and your communities proud! 👏🌿

Kokoda Trek Update
The group has now left Kagi and over the past two days has made their way to the village of Menari. Along the way, they visited the significant WWII battle site of Brigade Hill before descending into Menari yesterday.

Today was a shorter walking day—just five hours—with the group crossing into the Brown River basin and climbing halfway up the Maguli Range to reach Nauro.

Everyone is doing well, and spirits are high. Only two more days to go before they reach the end of the Track!

Kokoda Trek Update
The group has reached Kagi Village, the halfway point of their Kokoda journey.

They’ll now spend some time immersed in village life — a unique opportunity to connect with the local community. The boys will join the men of the village, while the girls will work alongside the women in the gardens.

This is not just a well-earned rest but a powerful cultural exchange, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of the incredible people who call Kokoda home.

Kokoda Trek Update 🇵🇬
Today the group will reach the highest point on the trail—Mt Bellamy (2,190m)—a major milestone on their journey. From there, they descend to the beautiful village of Kagi, where they’ll spend the next couple of days immersed in local culture and village life.

Kokoda Trek Update 🇵🇬
Yesterday was the group’s biggest day on the track so far, hiking from Alola to Templeton’s Crossing, just below Mt Bellamy.
It’s one of the toughest legs of the journey, and they tackled it with grit and determination.
Well done, team — an incredible effort! 💪🌿

📍Kokoda Student Trek Update – Day 2
Our student trekkers arrived safely at Deniki yesterday and are all in good spirits!

Today, they take on one of the most emotionally powerful legs of the Kokoda Track — hiking to Alola via the historic Isurava Battlefield, where Australian soldiers bravely held off a major Japanese attack.

They’ll also visit Con Rock, a large boulder that served as an improvised operating table for wounded soldiers in the absence of proper field hospitals.

It’s a tough, challenging day physically and mentally — but one that will leave a lasting impact. 🌿🇦🇺

Stay tuned for more updates as they continue their journey of remembrance, resilience, and growth.
