New requirements from Main Roads WA

Oversize Vehicle Route Survey - Audit Regime (Effective as of 4 January 2020)
All vehicles operating under an Oversize Permit, including a Period Permit and a Single Trip Permit, are required to undertake a route survey prior to moving the oversize load on the public road network.
The following document specifies the minimum requirements for undertaking a route survey, the record keeping requirements and the associated auditing process.

The following route survey template has been developed to assist transport operators. While it is not mandatory for transport operators to use this template, this template sets the minimum standard that is acceptable.

With the paid version of the Load Position Calculator, not only can you recall saved load information and vehicle configuration, you can print a copy for the driver or have an electronic copy sent to the driver to demonstrate to compliance officers, that all practicable steps have been taken to comply with the law.
