Our first Italian Grande Tour of 2026 departed on 22 April, and from the very first moment, Italy worked its magic on our travellers.

😍 From the lakeside beauty of Lake Como and the romantic waterways of Venice, to the Renaissance treasures of Florence, the rolling hills of Tuscany, the colourful villages of the Cinque Terre... every day brought something new to fall in love with.

🌊 Next stop: Mykonos 🇬🇷

The Greek Islands journey continues - and this chapter finds our Australian Managing Director soaking up the irresistible charm of Mykonos.

Built centuries ago to confuse invading pirates, the twisting, whitewashed alleys of Mykonos Old Town now serve as a beautiful maze for travellers. The famous Mykonos windmills and Little Venice are key highlights, along with meandering through the labyrinthine alleys, feeling like you've stepped into a living postcard.

The dazzling, whitewashed walls of the sugar-cube houses contrast beautifully with cascading scarlet bougainvillea and deep blue shutters. Every winding turn reveals hidden charm, from quiet courtyards to sun-drenched staircases - and quaint white churches tucked away from the crowds.

💙 Our Brussels to Berlin tour departed on 25 April, ANZAC Day, and what followed was a journey that moved us in ways we never expected.

At the Passchendaele battlefields in Belgium, one of our couples had a deeply personal mission: to find the grave of a long-lost uncle. During our visit, they found it and were able to lay flowers and pay their respects, with the rest of the group sharing in the moment.🌟

The same couple also carried a special gift from home: a poster from friends and neighbours in Victoria, donated to the Passchendaele Museum. Their fruit farm had been named after Zonnebeke, the very town where the Passchendaele battle took place. A beautiful full-circle moment, decades in the making.

Our group was also honoured to attend the re-dedication of a soldier's grave, a fallen serviceman whose identity had finally been confirmed after more than 100 years. His family, distant relatives, and representatives from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission were all present. As our Tour Manager Darren Wheatley described it, "it was a very emotional day for all."

From the medieval canals of Bruges, to the iconic waterways of Amsterdam, the tulip fields of Keukenhof, and the history-soaked streets of Berlin, our guests truly enjoyed every aspect of this remarkable program. 🌷🏰
