My Background
From the glitzy decks of cruise ships to your personal travel guide, my journey's been a whirlwind of adventure and discovery. Kickstarting my career in the travel world back in 2016, I quickly caught the wave, clinching the 'Top Novice' title at Cruiseabout in my first year. That win was just the beginning, sparking my drive to launch my own business in 2018 as a mobile travel agent

. Before diving into travel consultancy, I danced my way across the seas on Princess and P&O cruise ships, with each port bringing a new stage for my performances. Now, as a proud mom to two amazing boys and a darling little girl, I'm on a mission to show them the breathtaking wonders of our planet. Whether it's choreographing dance routines under the stars or designing unforgettable journeys for you, every step is a memory in the making. With my sights set on future escapades, I'm all geared up to bring more of the world's magic to our doorstep. How I Got Started
The allure of distant shores first captured me in 2006, when I embarked on my maiden voyage aboard a cruise ship. That initial taste of global exploration ignited a passion in me, leading to adventures in over 85 countries! Yet, with every new destination, the realisation grew that there was so much more to see. Upon diving into the travel industry, I recognised a gap in the market. While large agencies that offered myriad options, there was a need for more personalised, intimate travel planning, along with the possibility of greater savings for travellers. Sensing the opportunity not just to cater to this niche but also to create a sustainable business, I took the leap into entrepreneurship. Since that decision, every day has been a rewarding journey, seamlessly blending my love for travel with my commitment to delivering unparalleled service. While there are still many horizons left for me to explore, in the realm of travel consultancy, I've truly found my home. Top Destinations
Amsterdam enchanted me with its historic canals and vibrant culture, a city where art and everyday life merge seamlessly. The aroma of coffee, the buzz of bicycles, and timeless architecture make it a traveler's delight. Santorini is pure magic. With its iconic blue domes, stunning sunsets in Oia, and whitewashed pathways, it's like stepping into a dream. The island's beauty and warmth are truly unparalleled. While these destinations hold cherished memories, my heart is now set on Alaska. Known as The Last Frontier, it promises majestic glaciers, vast wilderness, and the ethereal northern lights.

Not that the locals needed telling... but it's nice to have it confirmed. 🏆

Shoal Bay has officially been named the NRMA People's Choice Winner in the 2026 NSW Top Tourism Town Awards.

Anyone who's spent time here already knows why.

From sunrise walks along the beach and afternoons on the water, to local cafés, restaurants and the incredible views from Tomaree Headland, Shoal Bay is one of those places that keeps people coming back year after year.

As a local business, it's fantastic to see our little corner of Port Stephens getting the recognition it deserves. Awards like this don't just celebrate a beautiful destination, they shine a spotlight on the businesses, locals and community that make it such a special place to live, work and visit.

Congratulations Shoal Bay. Not a bad place to call home. 🌊❤️

Hey Hunter Valley crew 👋

I’m currently putting together a small network of local suppliers to create premium guest experiences for accommodation stays in the region

Looking to connect with:
🍷 Private wine tour operators
🍽️ Private chefs / in-home dining
🧺 Picnic / event stylists
🎬 Outdoor cinema / event hire

The goal is to create simple, repeatable experiences for guests (think couples weekends, girls trips, celebrations etc) and bring consistent bookings to the right people

If you offer something in this space — or know someone who does — drop a comment or send me a message

Would love to support local and build something really cool here 🙌

✈️ JAPAN FROM $999 RETURN (INCLUDING TAXES) 🇯🇵

This one’s actually worth paying attention to.

ANA has dropped a solid sale from Sydney to Tokyo — and it’s not just the price…

Return fares from $999
Bonus: FREE domestic flight within Japan
1 piece baggage included

📅 Travel: 1 June – 31 July 2026
⏰ Sale ends: 20 April

That free domestic leg is the kicker.

You could:
• Fly into Tokyo → out of Osaka
• Add Kyoto, Hiroshima, Sapporo… without paying extra flights
• Turn a simple trip into a proper Japan itinerary

This is one of those rare ones where cheap flight + good airline + extra value = actually worth booking
(Not the usual “cheap but awful timing, 3 stopovers and a prayer” situation)

If Japan is on your list for 2026, I’d be locking this in while it’s here.

Flick me a message and I’ll piece together routes, timing, and make it all actually work properly.

CRUISE NEWS 🚨

Well… this is awkward.

Royal Caribbean has just scrapped a bunch of Summer 2027 sailings out of Miami 😬

Yep… whole itineraries = gone. P**f. See ya.

Before everyone panic-cancels their dreams of cocktails and questionable buffet decisions… here’s what it actually means 👇

✈️ If you’re already booked
You’ll likely be offered:
• A refund
• Or re-accommodation on another sailing

💡 If you’re thinking of booking
This is your reminder that:
👉 Cruises aren’t “set and forget”
👉 Availability + itineraries DO change
👉 Booking early ≠ locking everything in forever

BUT here’s the upside…
These shake-ups usually mean:
✨ New ships
✨ New itineraries
✨ Better options (eventually… once the chaos settles)

Moral of the story?
Don’t DIY your way into a meltdown when things shift.

That’s literally why I exist…
To fix it before you start rage-Googling at midnight.

Thousands of cruise lovers hoping to set sail next summer just had their plans sunk.

It’s not YOUR holiday. It’s OUR holiday! 🤣

A quick note about the media stories circulating today regarding flights to Europe ✈️

Some of you may have seen headlines this morning suggesting travellers should cancel flights to Europe for the next six months due to the current Middle East situation.

Let’s clear that up.

Those comments were actually about higher fuel costs and narrower flight corridors, not a recommendation to cancel travel. Unfortunately, that context got lost somewhere between the expert speaking and the headline writers doing their dramatic thing.

Here’s the reality right now:

✈️ Etihad and Emirates are flying today.
✈️ Asian carriers like Singapore Airlines are operating normally, using alternative routings where required.
✈️ Qantas flights to Europe are continuing to operate.
✈️ Qantas does not operate flights into the Middle East.

If you’re travelling soon via the Middle East, the most important advice is:

Do not panic-cancel your flights.

Cancelling yourself can remove your rights to refunds or rebooking options. The best approach is always to wait for the airline to make any changes if required.

For travel in the coming months, there are multiple alternative routes to Europe available, and this is exactly where having a travel agent in your corner helps. We can reroute, adjust, and make sure your trip still happens smoothly.

If you are travelling internationally, it’s also a good idea to register your trip with Smartraveller:
👉 smartraveller.gov.au

As always, if you’re unsure about your flights or upcoming travel, just reach out and we’ll work through the options together.

Travel isn’t stopping. It’s just taking slightly different flight paths sometimes. ✈️

MIDDLE EAST AIRSPACE DISRUPTIONS – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

There are temporary airspace closures across parts of the Middle East due to escalating regional tensions.

As a result:

• Dubai (DXB) operations have been temporarily suspended
• Abu Dhabi (AUH) departures are suspended
• Doha (DOH) services are impacted
• Several Gulf airspaces are restricted

Major carriers including Emirates (EK), Etihad (EY) and Qatar Airways (QR) are actively reviewing operations and restart times.

This is a safety-driven pause, not a permanent shutdown.

Airlines are managing passengers directly and reassessing routes in real time. Expect schedule changes, rerouting and possible overnight delays while the situation stabilises.

If you’re travelling via DXB / AUH / DOH / BAH / KWI / TLV / IKA in the coming days:

• Monitor your airline app and email
• Ensure your contact details are correct in your booking
• Do not go to the airport unless your flight is confirmed
• Be flexible with re-accommodation options

I am actively reviewing upcoming itineraries and contacting affected clients directly.

The Middle East is one of the busiest global aviation corridors in the world. When that airspace tightens, ripple effects are global. Europe, UK and some Asia routes may also see flow-on delays as aircraft reposition.

Safety first. Always.

If you have upcoming travel and are unsure, I’m across it and will guide you through next steps.
