📍 Pichi Richi Railroad, SA

Fantastic day yesterday, doing my first roster welcoming and looking after passengers on the Afghan Express from Port Augusta to Quorn in the lower Flinders Ranges.

Steam loco NM25 hauled the Ghan passenger trains from 1925 until the 1950s and was fully overhauled by the Pichi Richi Railway Preservation Society. The restored carriages are about 100 years old.
