1. Gulf Dove Shipwreck: One of the first attractions of the island is a shipwreck that you can enjoy right up close and from afar as the clear blue waters lap on its rusted exterior against the backdrop of the sand and mountains.
2. Arher Dunes: Located towards the far north east of the island sits the Arher dunes. Boasting its white endless sand dunes right by the ocean made for a truly special experience especially at sunrise.
3. Firmhin Forest: The largest density of the endemic dragon blood (Mushroom looking) trees. This forest feels like another planet as you witness these strange trees cover the landscape before you with the Socotra rolling hills beyond.
4. Wadi Kalisan: In the south east of Socotra sits Wadi Kalisan, a natural, clear and refreshing freshwater pool in a valley of beautiful white rock formations. You would spend a whole day here (i wish we did soaking in the sun and jumping off the rocks.
5. Detwah Beach: One of the most beautiful beaches you will ever witness and not a person in site. This beach north west of Socotra had the whitest sands, bluest waters and stretched far and wide.
6. Homhil Infinity Pool: An awesome and natural pool formation to take a dip and enjoy the insane sky high views before you.
