OBT Group Shipping and Logistics Operations Across Africa. Our journey began in 2004 with the opening of the first two OBT offices in Sierra Leone and Liberia.

⚓From Tema to Libreville: 140 units of heavy project cargo — excavators, tankers, tippers, and pickups — loaded and shipped in just four days.
As appointed port and vessel agent, our Ghana team handled it all: berthing formalities, customs and safety liaison, cargo marshalling, and stevedoring oversight, working closely with the vessel's Master and terminal operators throughout.

đźššFrom port to purpose.
Two Mercedes Arocs trucks, converted into mobile medical units, were cleared through Mombasa and delivered by self-drive to Kampala, where they are now serving communities across Uganda.

Coordinating the T1 transit documentation, customs clearance, and self-drive delivery along the Mombasa–Kampala corridor required precise timing and local expertise at every border crossing.

Proud to have played our part in delivering critical medical assets where they were needed most, proving that in logistics, not every move is measured in tonnes, sometimes it's measured in impact.

đźššDelivering where the map runs out.
Some of the toughest logistics work never makes the headlines, but it's often where a team's capability shows most.

Earlier this year, our team in Mauritania supported a nationwide public health distribution campaign, delivering critical supplies to over 20 sites, reaching some of the most remote locations in Hodh Chargui, deep in the Sahara, where paved roads run out long before the journey does. The terrain did not make it easy. Sandy tracks that are hard at the best of times become tougher in the rainy season, with routes shifting day to day. To keep supplies moving, the team repositioned stock closer to delivery points, replanned routes on the fly, and stayed in constant coordination with local partners.

âś…The result: full delivery to every site, ahead of schedule, a clear example of the last-mile ex*****on that keeps critical supply chains running in the hardest environments.

We successfully handled the port call of SAL MV ANNEGRET at Port of Nouadhibou, Mauritania, where railway grinding machine units were discharged directly onto barges.

With cargo destined to support rail infrastructure in a country famous for its iron ore railway, every stage of the operation required precise ex*****on. Despite units measuring up to 19.5 meters and restricted working hours, the project was completed within two days.

âś… Zero damage. Zero claims.

At berth with BESS units in Mauritius. 🚢
Our Mauritius team successfully coordinated the discharge of 23 BESS units at the Mauritius Container Terminal in Port Louis.
Thanks to strong collaboration with port authorities, terminal operators, and internal teams, the operation was carried out efficiently across all stages, from planning to documentation and agency services. Despite tight berthing windows and complex clearance requirements, the team completed the turnaround in under three hours, with discharge finalised in just one hour.
